You would study architecture to become an architect, which is someone who designs buildings, bridges and other structures. Architecture is one of the longest degrees at 7 years! This is because architects have to be highly skilled to make sure that the buildings they make are strong and safe for people to use and that they do the job they’re designed for in the best way possible.

Architecture students study different ways of building and designing structures, and at the history of architecture to see how and why things have changed. They also study all the different types of materials they could use, and how they could develop materials and use them in ways that are better for the environment and the building.
