This is a subject you might not have heard of before! Criminology is the study of criminal behaviour and criminologists play an important role in the Criminal Justice System. They look at why people commit crimes and how we can try to prevent them from happening. They will look at how people are punished and how the prison system works as well as ethics (whether something is right or wrong).
Criminology is a very interesting subject with lots of opportunities to specialise such as youth justice, corporate (business) crime and victim rights. If you like murder mystery stories, solving crimes or helping people, criminology might be the right course for you.
