You might have already learnt some really interesting things about the Roman Empire, Vikings or early hunter gatherers in your history lessons. If you enjoy this, there are lots of different history degrees you can choose from, focusing on different periods in history. So depending on which part of history you like best, you can pick a degree just studying that!
For example, if you like really old history like the Romans or ancient Egypt, you could study a degree in Egyptology or Classics. You would study all different aspects of that period of time, like the life and culture of the time, any wars or political events that happened and any industry and technology development that happened. Depending on the area of study you choose you might also look at areas like the civil rights movement, women’s rights or religious movements. You might also get the chance to go on field trips to ancient sites!
