Engineering is known as one of the most difficult degrees you can study at university. There are lots of different kinds of engineering because engineering is involved in lots of our daily life. Most engineering careers involve looking at how things work, designing, building and fixing things.
Some engineers design and build structures like bridges and buildings, others maintain cars, planes and boats and some even work on the technology that means you can look at this website on a computer or phone! Engineers need to be good at maths and science subjects and are often really good at solving problems. They might also enjoy fixing or improving things like their bike or car in their spare time.
